The North School Preservation Society is becoming more and more well known in the North Springfield and Springfield area thanks to the fundraising sales events and publicity in the media. The Society is overseeing maintenance and upgrading of the School building and the grounds and several suggestions for the building's use are being evaluated currently.
New Dog Park -- In conjunction with the Springfield Lions Club, a dog park has been established on the upper field of the North School Recreation Park. It will be dedicated and officially opened on October 11, 2025.
** Yard Sales are the Society's main source of support besides memberships and donations Please visit and consider a purchase to help fund our work. **
The sales are usually held on the grounds of the North School.

Yard sales feature many types of donated items and books. A food truck may be there. For help during each Sale, look for volunteers wearing distinctive vests.
